Man #1: I think it's GREAT we're having a national conversation on what constitutes raping a woman! Man #2: If it's not FORCIBLE, that's what I call a "soft rape" - no biggie. Man #3: Then there's false rape, true rape, red rape, blue rape... Woman: This is pretty frustrating as a woman. For starters - Man #4: HEY NOW! Whoa. Man #4: IT'S MAN TALKING TIME.

A theocracy is un-american. Unless it is a protestant, or a Mormon one; then its o.k.

Can’t help think about all those “laws” Moses wrote to tell women how to submit to men.

Perhaps, but now that the Tea Party has managed to get some candidates into the Republican ballot, this is an issue that is going to come up through November. The further right the candidate, the harder it will be for them to convince the middle to vote for them. And of course the Democrats will keep the discussion going, because it could mean another chance for them to get a supermajority in both houses. From now until November I can guarantee you will see a lot of candidates on the right “evolve” their opinions on abortion rights if they want to stay in the race.

Don’t forget Mohammad and his rules about rape. Sharia law would let just about any rape in US go unpunished. Every political party has at least one idiot, whether liberal or conservative or libertartian

Ah so like most republicans you could care less about women’s issues. Thank you for proving the point of this comic!

That is a reprehensible statement, HOWGOZIT. There is no comparison between the sexual abuse of a human being and what goes on here. Suggest you pull your comment.

chuckno88: You ARE aware that Sharia is basically just a reiteration of the laws of Moses, right? The latter day Muslim clerics have “modified” the real laws of Mohammed many times, in many ways, just as Jews and Christians have “adapted” their “rules” to fit the times, and their own intentions for rule. Mohammed for example didn’t call for the veil on any woman but his wife, because she tried to “mess him up” and he was ticked. Now, Muslims usually proclaim it is to “protect” women. Hmm, what do orthodox Jews, or many Christian sects, like Amish, Mormon (sub sects) and others say with regard to “proper dress” for women, and their submission to the male???

At least she didn’t say vagina. That’ll get you banned in some state houses.

If you are a woman and you vote Republicant you are seriously deluded. Same goes if you make less than $100,000 a year. or go to college. or have a darker skin color. or have an illness. or retired.

“Don’t forget Mohammad and his rules about rape. Sharia law would let just about any rape in US go unpunished. Every political party has at least one idiot, whether liberal or conservative or libertartian”?#Actually, no, that law would demand that the woman be stoned to death for “luring” the man (or men) into having sex with her? In other words, she would be tried, found guilty and sentenced as a prostitute!

Was Ted Haggard technically raped when he was on meth?
