I once took a dog for two weeks to train him because the owners claimed he was stubborn and wouldn’t listen or come when he was called.

On the first day, I ascertained that the dog – a beautiful purebred white American Pit Bull Terrier – was deaf. The owners refused to believe it.

I never gave the dog back to them! I kept Zeke, (my 90 lb. lap dog), for over 10 wonderful years.

Way to go, Picasso! If they’re to incompetent to keep their dog, they shouldn’t have one. Dog’s need competent loving owners, not people who consider their dogs to be animated vases with inconvenient physical needs.

A neighbor asked us to watch their kitten for a few days while they were moving. We had that cat for over twelve years and two states. That was the one that learned to use the toilet.

To all who have hearts and wallets big enough to encompass a pet – especially a rescued pet – and to provide a loving, caring home for it, with good food and proper vet care, thank you.
