    This won’t be the case too much longer if we keep cutting back education and keep lowering the bar on what is “passing”

    My oldest is in third grade – so far, so good. But she is learning things like opportunity cost recently, so this may be my last year.

    If they keep changing the way they teach things like math in school, they shouldn’t complain that parents aren’t helping their children to do better. They can’t explain what they weren’t taught as kids in school themselves. When my kids brought home this “new math”, I had to ask what was wrong with the old math.

    Sorry but this new math just doesn’t add up. I say we divide and conquer, have a mob scene via computer to multiply our effectiveness, minus the torches, of course. Gonna go eat some pi now.
