We sell Girl Scout cookies door-to-door. We won’t sell in the office. That’s too much pressure on people to buy.To me, it’s begging asking for other donations, like American Hear Association Jump Rope for Heart. Good cause, but I’m not asking neighbors to sponsor how many times my kid can jump rope.

My father would not allow me to sell Girl Scout Cookies. That was 61 years ago. He said it was too much like begging.

The worst is when a manager does it, knowing full well it’s even harder to say no. Shameless.
