Fifteen out of seventeen is pretty good.
But is this his partner or his wife?
Two years is considered a fairly short period of adjustment by some. They are fortunate to have reached the realization so soon.
15/17 ain’t bad…
My last wife and I have been married 38 years.
The last 13 have been the happiest for me.
She moved out in ’06.
People ask me how long I have been married…I usually state “to/too/two” (pick one as they are homophones. They reply ’Two years". No I state – “too long”…just for a giggle.
I used to use this line.
Now when I tell people that we’ve been married for 48 years they ask, “What’s the secret?” I only have one answer, “Pick a good spouse.”
I tell people we have been happily married for 10 years. We celebrated our 51st anniversary last month.
“You’re still the one that can scratch my itch.” 70’s song flashback.
We got married in a fever, hotter than a pepper sprout. We’ve been talking ’bout Jackson, ever since the fire went out.
Just hum the two years.
This is an old joke, but I still love it.
