Given how well-preserved they are (in the sense of fossils or that they are still alive at all), all those rumors about their heavy drug use are suspicious.
Mick Jagger actually got better looking with age. Like Willie Nelson, Carl Maulden, and Richard Boone (anyone remember him), there was no way he could possibly get any uglier. The only way was up.
One wonders? How is it major vocal icons, who are in their late 60’-70’s, still seem to sound the same in modern concerts as they did in their prime years. It is well known that vocal cords do not hold up like hands that hold instruments. Do they feed in soundtracks from the ‘old favorites’?
The Stones have not released an album of new material since 1987. The rest are all live albums or eternal compilations. Seems there are more compilations than there were original material albums.

Just give them a coat of shellac and they’ll be good for a few more years.

Since Keith and Mick hired Satan as their touring bassist there’s not been much too worry about.

In Detroit tickets are 290$ for nosebleeds and 4900$ for front row. Now they’re just sticking it to the fans. I’ll just listen to more Beatles.
