    It began in the 1980s with QVC. Now it’s Amazon. Very easy to shop for things that you don’t need to try on or touch to make a decision. Yes, this will be the demise of a lot of retail as we know it. I still believe with clothing people need to try things on, feel the fabric, study the workmanship, etc. But who needs a retail store for a frying pan?

    Actually, there’s a movement afoot to destroy the postal service as we know it, and they pretty much set fees for the industry. If that happens, you’ll start paying more in delivery than the items are worth.
