I like that trunk-or-treats are becoming more popular. There’s more activity for the kids and they are corralled in one area instead of dodging in and out of traffic. It’s just a lot safer and more fun.
Unfortunately, our local rec center had to cancel theirs. The place is also an early voting site. Having a bunch of children hyped up on sugar in a parking lot with people trying to squeeze in voting after work was not a good idea.
