My wife and I were on a Viking Cruise. Did you know that you can go from the North Sea to the Black Sea and never touch dry land?
Our ship was bow to stern with another ship in one of the many locks. The other boat was a party boat blaring music with a bunch of apparently inebriated people dancing on the top deck.
Our group moved forward on our deck and started dancing along with them. Our group was probably 40 to 50 years older than theirs. We were probably slightly more sober. They were shouting in German, we were shouting in America’s version of English.
This is the kind of international relationship I think we should have with our European neighbors.
