Bear, Dean is telling you the truth (this time), it is not a toupee. Hair Club could not get any hair implants to grow on Dean’s head, no hard they tried.
They fulfilled their guarantee by implanting artificial turf
Hair is not necessarily related to age. Husband is in his early 70s and has longer hair then he did in college. We do 18th century reenacting and he keeps his hair longish and pulled back in what is called in the period a queue (ponytail today). It is a lovely shade of white as opposed to the dark brown it used to be.
In addition to going with his interpretation for same it is a terribly easy hairstyle to deal with. When it starts to get too long I cut it across the bottom of the queue, trim the sides, and clean up the rest up with his electric razor for him. (When my hair – which I wear up all the time – is too long, I put it in a hair band, flip it over my head and snip. If it is not even it does not matter as it will be up in a clip with the ends unseen.)
