Seriously, in the early 1990s the grass verges of Edinburgh were full of mutant clover – my personal best had 15 leaves. Then the council changed the stuff they were spraying the verges with….

The Vole able to dig shallow trenches, blend in with dirt and command a hoarde of earthworms. Truly a lesser character in the Marvel Universe.

Over fertilization will produce multi-leafed clover too. We did this as a high school experiment years…..okay, centuries ago.

Oh give’th me a break. Much rather live by a Nuc-plant than a Chemical plant.

Of course the radiation levels near a nuclear plant are lower than almost anywhere else, even lower that a slab of natural granite. But it plays to popular superstitions.

Is this how “Cloverfield” got started?

I don’t know if Jim ever reads these comments or not, but I just want to say that I have loved this strip since I discovered it in the late 80s. I don’t know why it’s not more popular.
I wish Jim had a more prominent social media presence, because I feel like there’s a lot of people that would really dig this strip, but GoComics simply does not reach a very wide audience.
This strip seems to epitomize the humor that is Monty. I read and re-read Primary Crullers so many times because it was so enjoyable.
Anyway, Jim if you are out there – I love your work, and I wish to see more of it! And for the love of all that’s geeky, why in the world aren’t there more print collections of Monty?! It BOGGLES my mind.

I think the former inhabitants of Pripyat would probably take exception to that assertion, Rondec.

My son can find 10 4-, 5-, and 6-leaf clovers in 60 seconds in an average lawn containing clover. They’re actually very common, but people usually can’t see them.

wait until they start seeing babies born with one eye in the middle of their faces. Pretty darn unlucky!
