I never got the Peanuts strip. I considered it content-free. Whenever the local paper asked readers to recommend comics to remove during downsizing, I’d always nominate Peanuts, but it never got cut.

Actually, it’s not that cute when Garfield does it.

This piece reminds me of a spoof piece, I can’t remember from whom, about a proposed “Garfield” piece, “Garfield Gets Old.”
