What’s the big deal? It’s not worth even twenty bucks.
You still have the same dryer your mom had when you were a kid?
She could have sold it at a garage sale before it got into that other dimension through a different portal. Then it drifted back to this one.
A quick Yahoo search shows Spiderman #217 being from 1963.
Since Batman (Adam West) had Robin (Bert what’s his name) as a sidekick, could Monty be Spiderman’s gopher?
I looked it up and the cover actually had Hydro-Man and Sandman! Always strive for accuracy!
Here’s mud in your eye, Spidey!
She didn’t sell it. Everyone knows moms throw things out after you go away to college.
Isn’t that a scene from Pet Detective?
Why do women do that? Both my mom and my sister did that to me, mom with my comic books, and sister with my Sci-Fi books. I’m still put out about it…
Kudos for getting the volume and issue numbers correct, and the issue summary. Although this issue is in the Denny O’Neill ASM run which was awful, so Monty shouldn’t be that upset about losing this issue.
An apology, why? She put them into a dryer!
Still…. he or his mom had to have put the comics in the dryer.
It can happen with any dryer.
Moms tend to do that sort of thing. One year (long ago) my entire stash of comic books “disappeared”….
Notice how Monty and E.B. seem to keep repeating their discovery of the interdimensional time-portal over and over again? Egad!
