This is a little off. Don’t you normally secure laces once the shoe is already on the foot? His leg should have hit him in the face not just the shoe.

Reminds me of a seat lift device I bought for someone. You had to have the strength of a gorilla to set it—sort of like a mousetrap. It could fire you out of your chair if you made a false move. Better not go reaching for your cookies.
Needs an on/off switch.
