    Hi Vagabonds

The sun has started to shine in our little valley and it’s now high enough to hit the house, 54 degrees at first look. The predicted high is 85, Some clouds this morning and clearing to mostly sunny. A hair more then a month to the equinox.

I picked up a DVD of “Logan’s Run” (1976) yesterday staring Michael York as Logan-6 and a quick look at a pre-Angle Farrah Fawcett-Majors (at the time). What happens when a law enforcer brakes the law? He runs.

OK, folks, have a high old time today and may God bless.

A good Saturday morning to all of the Vagabonds.

We’ve made it through another week, though as retirees the day of the week doesn’t seem to matter all that much. Half the time the most interesting things on my calendar are the “holidays” from all around the world. And yes, I’ve actually started using a calendar.

We’ve got blue skies and sunshine today, though the forecast is for less than 100. A good day to stay inside I think.

We got our new combination shoe rack/padded bench delivered last night. Judging from the size of the box, it’s similar to Ikea furniture. We’ll have to put it together ourselves. Wish us luck. (Yes, another thing added to the “projects” list. The spare room is filling up with them. I wonder if I should add them to my calendar…)

My brother smokes a pipe and has a certain type of tobacco that he loves. Unfortunately, the place he orders it from is out-of-state for him and won’t ship to Maine. So he sends it here and I ship it to him. I sent it off on Thursday and it cost almost $50 to ship! Oh well, he’s worth it. Oh, he had also ordered a new corncob pipe which had been backordered. I was going to add it to his tobacco shipment, but I got tired of waiting. Of course, it arrived on Friday so I had to ship it separately. Murphy’s Law is hard at work in Nevada.

Everything seems to be either beautiful or under control at the moment, so I’ll wish everyone a safe and blessed day.

    Good evening, Vagabonds.

Quiet day. Church, shopping and home. Sunny sky with a low of 69 and a high of 84. It was actually a pleasant day to sit out on the patio and read.

    Everyone have a quiet evening.
