Geez! You make one little movie and you’re typecast for ever. (I was going to say “typecast for life”, but I chickened out…)
I think Justin was channelling Terry Pratchett here.
Got you dead to rights…
Karma, of all people, should be familiar with Shogi. In which you can do almost exactly that (put your opponent’s “dead” pieces back on the board).
Well, the penalties for you winning are pretty steep.
Do the dead pieces dance at the end?
I can think of a few zombies that are cheating death.
The zombie pieces move like pawns.
You could also paint the zombie pieces green.
That’s mostly because Death has a tendency toward “Sore Loser” when the game goes badly.
He always feels bad and apologizes after reaping them, though.
It’s okay, Grim Reaper. You’ll still take Anansi in the end….
Is the ‘Grrr’ a nod to Buffy the Vampire Slayer – at the end of the credits?
There’s a whole lot of good references to prior art in this one. A lot to think about… Another good one, Justin!
