I would be happy to get any colour of rose. Happy Valentine’s Day.

As long as the rose smells like a rose, I wouldn’t care.

So who is our Romeo? I do not recognize him, is he new? I don’t recall him from before. I went back through Justin’s new book, thinking that I missed a new character introduction, but I did not find our rose seeker. He looks too old to be Romeo. And too French. Is he the Gascon? That’d be cool.

And, by the way, speaking of the new book, I hope that you check it out. It’s not just a reprint of old comics. Justin went out of his way to make it a book that the folks who follow him here will enjoy. Readers gave him suggestions, he listened and they make the book much more interesting. Lots of new material along with some favorite old friends make it a fun read.

I enjoy a lot of comics and Mythtickle is one of my favorites. Much of that is because Justin puts so much of himself into his work, and he interacts with his readers. When I read his book it felt like he was sharing something he truly cared about, and he was sharing it with people he cared about. This book was not for him, it was for us.

Roses are red, violets are sore.

That’s all I can think of, can’t think of no more.

“That which we call a rose would, by any other name, smell as sweet.”
