That’s a Yo-Yo, argy. They are little magical creatures that appear to live in Oona’s house, and they do mischievous (sometimes sinisterly so) things, like…Nancy said in an earlier strip, “See you in the funny papers,” to Oona, so here they are visiting different funnies. I’m with IGoPogo—I want to see them in Cul de Sac!
This series has to be one of the all-time greats in the history of comic strips. A sheer joy for real comics fans and a very well-done tribute to Guy’s fellow comic-strip artists. Simply excellent!

Clever. I love Rat’s ears and bow. I have a feeling Nancy is going to appear in Mr. Pastis’ strip pretty soon.

Who is the little character at the top of the first panel saying ‘See you in the funny papers, Nancy’?

Let’s just hope they don’t look like Dewey and Robert the Plant. I understand that Clovis-Rex, the zombie, is looking for them.

Uh-oh. Those two could be trouble. Especially the one on the right. (Based on the “Pearls” strips …)
This arc has been fantastic—one of the best I’ve seen in quite a while.
