They’ve all been eaten anyway. The other conscience munchkin in the red suit that usually perches on Nancy’s sinister shoulder got ’em. The temptation was too great even if she wanted to resist. They were devils food muffins.
Concluding Unscientific Postscript
Devils Tower in Wyoming is spelled without the apostrophe… Devils, not Devil’s or Devils’. This apparently started with a general rule of excluding punctuation from government created signage. Anyhow, the usage has spilled over into cookbooks. Most still say “Devil’s Food” but more than a few go with “Devil’s Food.”

Why is Nancy trying to reach Phil Fumble’s cremation urn?

Heh, an appearance by the least used character in Nancy history, and a sequel of sorts to that great 20th Jan strip.
I love that she’s smarter than her alter ego, and that the joke is so heavily telegraphed but we cut before the payoff.

I guess Nancy doesn’t have a good side. How disappointing.

That’s some nice perspective there.

From the perspective I see in the last panel, Nancy should be able to reach over and easily grab a cookie…
