I’ve made this comment before. Nancy has AirPods. I know because I’m jealous. She is wearing them in the “Sluggo is Lit” strip. You want a link? Who do I look like, AstutePanther? AirPods cost $170. Dat Fritzi is a generous moll, I tell ya.
Haha! I did not notice the earphone line between our duo when I first read the comic on my phone (at 4:30am)…. and I thought it was wonderfully funny… because the bicycle rider would be annoyed at trying to ride between two people. But now…. seeing the cord as well….. EVEN MORE funny!!!!
It reminds me of how my dog and I sometimes initially accidentally react when we hear a bicyclist ring his/her horn behind us…. she moves one direction and I move the other…. with the leash between us. When I recognize the error I quickly move over to the dog. :)
At least the cyclist riding on the sidewalk is using a bell. In Boston those idiots just shout “on your right!”; bell would weigh them down too much, I suppose.

This is way too unrealistic.
Phones don’t have audio jacks anymore.

No set of “ears” would have a cord that long.

Bicyclist is arrogant. He wants the entire pathway for himself. (tee hee)

It’s really the bicyclist’s fault; he should have been riding in the street, not on the sidewalk…
