S’mores
I thought the same thing, Fritzi, as bare limbs clawed at my window, their lost leaves ticking along the road on the way to the river.
But then, Nancy, I went to the kitchen and made myself a nice cup of hot cocoa.
With marshmallows fished out of a box of Lucky Charms.
I wish I could be poetic about autumn, but mostly it’s mourning summer’s ease and battening for the hardships of winter.
I find something to love about all the seasons. Always have.
All to the theme of “Spam” by Monty Python.
Typo typo typo typo (bite your tongue, say nothing, be no grammar copperhead) typo typo (but it’s screaming, get it out of my head! Help!)
HAIKU! (Bless you!!) :-)
What’s a campire? Is that an umpire giving up and moving to Canada?
Campire: A creature that drinks the blood of campers in the woods.
“I know you can read MY thoughts, boy….meow meow meow meow meow meow …”
In the olden days in Denver, we burned our leaves. No S’mores, but a fine poetic smoke.
from urbandirectory.com : Campire: Homoerotic vampire art (fiction, art, film) popularized by authors such as Bram Stoker, Anne Rice and Laurell K Hamilton.
The rhyming and the chiming of the s’mores.
Okay, people, that’s enough spelling corrections. We all know she misspelled “vampire”. No need to dwell on it. :)
S’More, S’more, Smore
How do you like it, how do you like it
S’More, s’more, s’more
More S’mores, More Problems.
The Notorious Nancy.
Have ya got anything that doesn’t have Spam in it?
at least it’s not baby shark
With every passing day, Nancy reminds me more and more of Little Lotta of Harvey Comics fame.
Nice haiku, Nancy.
And it’s making me hungry.
Bring on the s’mores—stat!
