Evidently, I wonder what he’s up to….It can’t be good….

She’s been hanging around Cap’n Eddie. I doubt she gets her imagination from her dad.

We were hunting for Petoskey stones in Northern Lake Michigan..We looked up and following behind us were 13 vultures…Yup, lucky 13…They were just hovering right above us….She turned to me and asked “Do you feel OK?”

Bilan, I believe the bear segwayed over the mountain….Now, the Pope? Who knows where he goes……

And I have it reliable authority that bears are Catholic….

Brings to mind that fine old hymn, “Gladly, the Cross-Eyed Bear”’.

Part of the thrill of going to scout camp was the trip there and back. There was a single lane cables and planks bridge crossing the river that we crossed with a highway Greyhound bus full of scouts. It could dip, buck, twist, rock, sag, and sway all at once. They have a new highway and bridge now, but the old bridge is still there for foot traffic. They have torn out the highway approaching the bridge on both sides and have heavy cables across it.
