“I know what you’re gonna say” really annoys me when people use it on me. They are wrong half the time and the rest of the time it’s just to cut me off mid sentence.

Panel two cuts close pretty to home…I’m retired, so I have the freedom to nap whenever I want…..And I don’t care what the cats think…And both of those would just as soon take a nap with me…….Anyway, rock on girls…..Or is it girls on rock?

and as you get older, you’ll learn to find garments that aren’t quite pjs but comfortable enough to sleep in and then jump into the car…fortunately, my role is that of chauffeur from home to public transportation, but I do run errands on the way back. A series of nice cover up tops disguise the lack of ….foundational garments…Winter is preferable for this approach, and only works until about 8am. If anyone I know sees this, my account was hacked

I hate seing people (so far only women) in stores wearing pajamas. ♦Who would even own pajamas? I sleep in white cotton briefs.

You’re right. Those of us of a certain age dress for comfort not for style. In my little patch of paradise, that usually consists of flip-flops, shorts and either a tank top or a teee shirt.

Forget the pajamas and sweats – too hot !

I’ve never been comfortable sleeping with anything on. I had to sleep in skivvies in the Army but rarely ever after that.

I never could sleep in the buff, I have to have something on my shoulders.

also, I’ve found it rare in children to desire to nap. That’s usually the thing kids need but won’t do. All bets are off once they’re teens…

all I can think of is that old saw: I shot an elephant in my pajamas, what he was doing in my pajamas, I’ll never know.

Around here I see adults of both sexes in pajamas in the daytime out in the stores, restaurants, everywhere. Not all the time, but it’s not uncommon. In fact, there was talk of making a ruling that wearing pajamas in court would be banned, though I don’t recall whether it ever happened. In my ancient opinion, they look ridiculous. There are plenty of comfortable clothes like sweat pants and shirts. But, such is the world today….

I admit that I have become a member of the Kiss the Pavement Club on a couple of occasions but not when I was wearing flip-flops. My flip-flop flops have involved an unplanned and ungraceful decent down a flight of stairs and embarrassing slip and slide off some rocks on the rio in front of my grandkids.Aside from those incidents, I have the sandal shuffle down fairly pat..

Here in 2023 women are going to work in clothes that would, at one time, not have passed as pajamas. I’m not complaining, mind you.
