Well you see, considering the age and size of the universe, nothing here on Earth, of any magnitude, whether it lasts for one second or one million years, is in any way discernible from an event that didn’t happen at all. Within the universe, you don’t get more relatively soon than that. And really, even if you can handle that concept, once you’re dead the universe ceases to exist and, in fact, never existed. So don’t worry. Be happy.
