It looks like her self-discipline is all wet.

Up through panel 5 probably showed what she thought the weather was like (because she wasn’t paying attention).

She could have probably just looked up (or at least away from her device) to see that a rainstorm was possibly coming.

I wonder is maybe it was not raining all the long and she was just so focused on her phone she did not noticed it.

Good for her. Anyone that needs to put a phone first while walking deserves to get rained on, step in a hole, walk into a pole. Someone else is most likely recording and we get to see the comedy on YouTube.

Been there….and not just checking the weather. I go to answer an email, see another and ‘wheeeeee’, away I go down the rabbit hole.

She didn’t even see the car that almost hit her.
