I’ve been known to do that. Find some stupid movie for background noise to mask the #%$^& tinnitus noise just so I can go to sleep.

Isn’t all TV that these days?

As I have said, among CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC, … my favorite network is OFF. I even have a special button on my remote for it.

There is something about television I don’t understand. 600 channels, but nothing to watch. What is the point?

I can’t sleep with the light the TV gives off, but curling up with a nice, boring book will put me to sleep right away.

My mom could fall asleep to anything on TV.

Even better: The TV turns itself off as soon as you fall into a deep sleep.
