My wife and I are in that situation currently. I recently retired, and she recently switched from a work at home job to a work on site job. So now I’m the one planning the menu, cooking, doing dishes, cleaning bathrooms, etc… Of course I am now also the one that gets to say, “Have a nice day at work”, and then roll over and go back to sleep.

The matryoshka doll doesn’t look too happy.

I recently visited my cousin. Their household is the reverse of ours: in our house my wife is the cook and I am the bottle washer. In her house, it’s the opposite which is good, because he is an excellent cook. I cannot testify to my cousin’s culinary skills since the last time she prepared a meal for me it was a PB&J when we were 6.
