It’s a bit chilly to be reading on the beach.

The Dummies book on ice fishing???

I feel sorry for President Biden. I didn’t always agree with his positions — but then I wouldn’t expect him or anyone to agree with all of mine — but looking back at his service to this country — and the world — I note that

1. He has acknowledged mistakes, apologized for them, and tried to fix them.

2. His mistakes often came in trying to “fix” one problem without anticipating problematic consequences [e.g., Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act]; by trying too hard to get agreement from ‘the other side’; or because he had difficulty separating his personal religious beliefs from secular issues. One person’s ability to learn from mistakes and to change his opinions is another person’s ‘flip-flop’.

3. He has never appointed family members to positions within the government or within his political party. And he doesn’t exploit his “brand” by selling souvenir coins, trading cards, Bibles, etc. [Although his opponents have been searching for years, they haven’t been able to find any evidence that he even knew he had a “brand.”]

She should be able to finish her beach books when appropriate weather is available, or else they really aren’t beach books. They are snow books, which should be read inside.

And I thought I was a slow reader.

I suppose Hamilton Beach reads are for crock pot heads in Nevis. Who’d hesitate to go home to if ‘home’ is in Nevis?
