I’ll buy a turkey when we get home (after Dec 18th) and into the deep freeze they go. I buy more than one if they’re a good price :) Then cook them in July, when it’s cool enough to do it! LOL!
Who even made the unwritten rule that people have to eat turkey on Thanksgiving? How do you we even know for sure if the Pilgrims and the Native Americans ate any turkey on Thanksgiving?

That turkey only has the rear end eaten. Cut it off, down to the clean part, cut the clean part into slices, place on plate and no one will notice.

Pizza’s good….I eat it every year on my birthday and NYE’s…we make big ones for each of us and get 4 meals of 2 slices a piece.

We both prefer dark meat so we just buy thighs. Usually enough to leave some in the freezer and smoke them on the grill come summer.
