My “recipe” for battling jetlag on overseas trips is to get a flight that leaves as late at night as possible (and therefore arrives later in the day), drink LOTS of water (and only one alcoholic beverage if any), hit the ground running (check into hotel, go out and walk around, have lunch), then return to the room and sleep for 2-3 hours. After that, get up and enjoy the evening. Next morning you’re almost in the right time frame.
