Yep. Keep it to yourself, smile & serve the food. Then, when some dimglow comments on the item that didn’t quite turn out right, you can smile at them & say “Yes, I know, thank you for noticing, what would you have done? Do you have a recipe for this, I’d be willing to give yours a try.” And watch ’em squirm!!!

I used to be like Evelyn and apologize for all of the things I did wrong with the meal.
My husband was the one who actually taught me, if you don’t point out what you’ve done wrong, nobody will know that anything is wrong :-))

if they have been waiting since Thanksgiving they will eat anything at this point no matter how dry or how it tastes.
