Not an uncommon sight when I was growing up. Boys or girls, it didn’t really matter. The Neighborhood Mother’s Cooperative did a very good job of keeping things under control.
@ John and JAM – how about down the main isle at Best Buy? My daughter was about 2, and we were looking for a TV. Turned our heads for a second and she took off, stripping as she ran – giggling hysterically.
happened to me at the graduation of the preschool class I taught. We had a water day afterwards and the granddaughter of a visitor stripped and went running across the school yard, heading for the water. And my boss was there!

Here in the tropics, it’s not unusual for even elementary school kids to strip down after leaving the school premises.
