We used to give my grandmother a hard time for eating grapes in the produce aisle. She replied, in broken english, I pay my taxes. I would hate to be the officer to have to interrogate her.

As Kab mentioned, they ARE supposed to discard everything served and not finished. When possible, I try to save 1/2 for another meal including sauces (if there is a good bleu cheese, Béarnaise or Horseradish). I don’t sneak it in my purse, tho’ because there is better packaging at most places.

Usually I drag along a couple empty pill containers for just such salad dressing “contingencies..” Nobody’s shot me yet.
