nate: and so by this tiny sliver of moonlight... ten paces of the smallest palm.. ...we bury the treasure and smooth the ground over... ...a blood red X marking the spot until the day we return! charley: a map for a bag of steak bones, nate? nate: hey, louie part of the crew. he likes a little intrigue in his life, too...
Yes, sweet Louie is definitely an important part of the crew. :-)
When I was a kid (and had more time), I used to make a maze with the boxes in the basement and leave treats intermittently, so my cat would have something interesting to do.
@Allan – it does sound more reasonable to spread out the gorging so that our bodies have more time to recover. Do you all also put as much emphasis on trick or treating at Halloween as we do? For me, the eating starts at Halloween, even when I try to get rid of the candy quickly. (And I’m glad the Canuck label wasn’t offensive to you, I wasn’t sure if it was, but didn’t mean it meanly. Yankee doesn’t bother me, but in the South, it’s supposed to be a terrible insult. :-))
