Yeah! But winter is here now, and it’s 50 outside!

It was 50’s here today too, with a stiff wind out of the north. Tomorrow, we’ll get off to a chilly start for sure - but not 15 below, thankfully.
Nate, good luck with that schedule.
Good Morning, Crew!

Did I miss something, or is there no color for a reason?
Good B&W Morning, Crew!

Is the artist trying save money and time by not coloring?

You tell ‘em Nate. Lay down the law!
The original Overboards were all black and white, then eventually the Sunday strips went color. I rather lke this, reminds me of the old ones.
Good morning Crew!

Good luck bossing around Mother Nature. I think most of the time she just laughs at us. Here it was around 60 yesterday, but will be a high of 46 today. Hard to convince kids that it will be chilly today.
Good morning, Crew!

What’s up with naming Hannukah and Kwanzaa first, with Christmas as an afterthought. The sad thing is that Jews and black Americans don’t even care much about those two holidays. Did Chip really feel the need to be that PC?
jimcos about 14 years ago
And @Commentator, as I read it, New Year’s Eve was the last one on the list. Settle down Bud, don’t try to find PC-ness under EVERY rock. …or are you just trolling? It’s so hard to tell these days.

If it wasn’t for the grand kids, I’d be in L.A. today. Their Mother won’t let us take them along !

Commentator Hanukkah starts TONIGHT at sundown, so I can see Chip using that first as it’s “orderly”, however Kwanzaa starts Boxing Day (Dec. 26 for those not in the know) so I don’t know why he put it before CHRISTmas.
edrush about 14 years ago
I suspect that the four occasions are in chronological order. … As for the color, another cartoonist said the syndicator adds the color, and he wishes they wouldn’t.
edrush about 14 years ago
Speaking of color, someone kindly mentioned how to do italics and boldface in this Gocomics interface, but I’ve even see larger fonts and color in some comments. How does that happen?

20s and snowing here in Chicago today. Nice brisk winter day to say the least. If we brood over it, it will feel as if Spring will never get here. Before long we’ll be complaining about the weather being too hot! :^)
Good Evening, Crew!
