ian: here- give me your keys. you've had too much to drink.
Im only slightly buzzed.
louie: grrrrrrrrrrrrr
friends don't let friends drive even only slightly buzzed
Of course, even with all the publicity, once someone has had a bit too much, they don’t think clearly and make poor decisions. That’s the nature of being drunk.
cdward - so make the decision before you start drinking.
There seem to be a lot of publicity campaigns lately about how bad it is to get caught drinking and driving. I think that misses the point - what’s worse is NOT getting caught…
Everyone who is caught DUI has most likely done it 100 times before without being pulled over. What makes them think they’re so special? Good for you Louie.
True perhaps, but repeating it one more time can’t hurt. Who knows, maybe it’ll make a friend of one of the partiers think a bit and offer to drive the impaired person home. Or, if the party is at a house maybe the host will think to allow people to stay over until it wears off.

Pity everyone doesn’t have a Louie to growl at them!

Well if Louie’s not there to growl hopefully these people will have a good friend who will growl and howl rather than let anyone drive home drunk.
Good Morning, Crew!

On a very special “Overboard”…

No offense, but if you haven’t gotten the message by now, you’re not going to get it from a cartoon dog. McGruff kind of proved that.

Thanks, Chip. Lost a good friend on New Years Eve many years ago. He’s always in my mind.
Saying it can’t hurt. I agree.
