I knew about the birds and the bees, but not about the mice-and-the-seals.

Is that a weird looking seal or a gigantic mouse who is giving it to the shark?

Some like MikeyJay are speculating as to what that is (with a Baby Seal uncle)… it doesn’t look like a seal…

I think it just might be the Montauk Monster… but only “maybe”… ;-)

There is that old saying………..it looks like something the cat brought in.

How does a mouse have an uncle who’s a baby seal?!? I guess I can accept that— if Raymond is a dog who talks and wears pants, and Louie is a dog who does neither— not everything in this strip has to add up logically.

A hybrid mouse and seal would be a souse or a meal. Neither one sounds promising.

Looks like survival of the fittest here. Or not, in the case of the seal, unfortunately.
