“Here, thistle do you.”

The thistle will fight fiercely in battle if Charley can get one of the Green Ship’s guys boot off.

I would not be surprised if they did. Scientists are now saying they feel pain.

I transplanted a couple of thistles from my front garden, where they were not wanted, to my back garden where they are thriving!

Hope the painted lady butterflies will find them

Charlie will soon learn the theory: “No good deed goes unpunished.”

Every weed is just a plant you don’t like. I don’t mind most of them.

I want to live in Chip Dunham’s universe. I’m grateful to get at least a peek in, daily.

Would like to spend a couple of days on the Revenge…..

Hey, watch that weed talk, Thistle, or you’ll get cut down.

I wish I were planting tomatoes this morning. Here in Ohio it’s 27 degrees with snow.

One weed just opens the way for more.

I have learned why thistle is the national symbol of Scotland. It keeps popping up. You cannot remove it. It always comes back. It will not die.

Love that! I go out every morning, anxiously watching my tomato sprouts get bigger!

Maybe if he feels particularly forgiving, the little gardener will transplant the thistle from the wooden ship deck to some actual soil.

Charlie has a soft spot for any plant.
