one night well after midnight i received a call from one of our apartment renters who said she had a terrible gas smell in the houseā¦of course i headed over there right away, and when i got there the fire department people had their āsnifferā tools out looking for the leak all through the houseā¦. as soon as i walked into the home i realized what the odor was and suggested that the lead fire fighter turn off his āsnifferā tool and go smell the dogā¦. yepā¦.dog had made a new skunk friendā¦.the fire department person was a bit embarrassedā¦ but did laugh about itā¦ said it was a first for himā¦. unfortunately it wasnāt a firstā¦or last for me..
My brother-in-law and his wife were visiting, and they decided to sleep outside on the patio. In the middle of the night, my BIL needed to answer the call of nature. Rather than go into the house and all the way down the hall to the toilet, he relieved himself on a bush in the corner of the yard.
Unfortunately, there was a skunk under that bush. He did not appreciate being urinated on, so he returned the favor.
My BILās wife was native American, and she gave him a new name: āPees on Skunks.ā

What a ā¦ stinky ā¦ thing to do to a trusting soul like Louie. Better watch your back, skunk, since I sense payback coming.
Happy Sunday, Crew.
