Sammy has not been around for quite some time (2005ish?) Hammy is his replacement.

Is Dan gonna be a new cast member, or is he just a one-off? If he is a new cast member, then it appears that Verne is completely contradicting what he thought of new cast members after what happened with Gary the goat.
