Facebook will have a place where you can post and let all your friends know that you’re safe.

I figure I won’t know when the world ends. And I won’t care, because I’ll be too busy being dead

The world has already survived hundreds of predictions of its end: Some by scientists, some by prophets, poets, priests, indigenous tribes, ancient calendars and even insurance companies.

The world will continue, in one form or another, but our continued existence is not guaranteed.

When you hear the big rip.

The Earth abides.

I heard somewhere that the acrid aftertaste in all this Canadian forest fire smoke is actually the plastics humans have strewn all over.

That can’t be good for ya.

The planet will be fine. Nothing we throw at it will matter in the long run. The endangered species is us.

They’ve been talking about blowing it up longer than my 65 years. It’s like they’re not even trying.

The world will always be here, even tho disasters will come and go. Some parts of the world may have famine while others have floods. Disease and cures will come and go. Wars will always be with us because of human nature. But mankind will continue to plod along, and the earth will continue to rotate.
