You bought in suburbia where all the houses are identical and have the same floor plan. They learned from the first model home that was built and BOOM, they were set.
Side note on city folk in the ‘burbs: When I was teenager, late ’60s, my boyfriend and I were coming back from a movie in another town. The route took us through a no-sidewalks, no streetlights suburb — very country. We came across a car on the side of the road with someone sitting inside. big burly guy, in this his ’30s. We stopped to ask if he needed help. He rolled his window down a couple of inches and said he thought he was out of gas. Long story short, he was a city guy who had come out to the ’burbs to visit friends and was so terrified of the dark suburban landscape that he wanted us to call the police to come help him. I’ve always felt sorry for him.

I was camping in upstate New York and had to stop a lady from trying to pet a kitty cat. The Pepe Le Pew variety.
