February’s motto: Be prepared for anything.

Well it was 80 here in Vegas today so….

I’ve always said February is the longest month of the entire year. I’m so grateful it only has 28/29 days.

Crampon flip-flops; sure to be the NEXT BIG THING.

East Tennessee is in its February Tease right now. It was in the teens and 30’s for about three week and now the highs are in the sixties for the next week. March will bring soul crushing cold, rain and often snow for the first half of the month.

Another day that ends in Y.

Yesterday it got up to 70 here. Tonight we get sleet and freezing rain.

It’s hard to translate the forecast to our actual weather. The forecast is for a spot five miles away, 300 ft lower and in the flats by the airport. Currently “Snow, heavy at times.” I’m seeing a little drizzle.

Right now we’re getting our first major snowfall of Winter. Not one flake all winter and January was the third driest on record. This is definitely very strange weather even for our neck of the woods

But February made me shiver

With every paper I’d deliver.

Bad news on the doorstep -

I couldn’t take one more step.
