Once I was trying to take a picture of my black cat, Rico. He was lying down, posing. My camera acted up. He yawned; the camera worked. It now makes for one of the best Halloween pictures.
That reminds me of a joke my dad used to tell. A guy is posing for a portrait and the photographer tells him to say “Pine” when he shoots so he’d be smiling. Unfortunately, just as the photographer is ready to shoot the guy can’t remember which tree to say, and in a panic yells out, “HemLOCK!” …well, maybe you had to be there…
