Th’accordionist couldn’t have been Alfred Yankovic as he wasn’t born at this strip’s original publication, right? Maybe ’twas Frank Yankovic.

If he’s playing Bach, he needs a harpsichord, not a piano. Nothing worse than Bach on a piano!

Don’t feel too bad, Schroeder; popular culture too often depicts classical music as stuffy and something for old people.

Schroeder didn’t tap into his inner Beethoven, and the accordionist managed to squeeze through!

Kinda reminds me of the M*A*S*H with the USO Troop where the accordian player shows Charles she’s a classically trained pianist. When he asks her why she wastes her time playing the accordian she tells him she likes to eat.
