A night watchman was just getting off work when he met the CEO of the company, who was coming to work at the same time. He went to the CEO and told him: “I had a dream last night that the plane you’re going to take for your business trip crashed. I don’t dream very often, but when I do, my dreams always come true. You should take the train instead”. Being a superstitious man himself, the CEO took the watchman’s advice and took the train. Sure enough, the plane he would have taken crashed, killing everyone on board. When he got back from his business trip, he met the night watchman again, and told him: “Thanks for the warning. You saved my life. You’re fired.”
Why did he fire the night watchman? (This is the kind of riddle that is prefaced by “I’m only going to say this once”. No fair going back and reading it again).
Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “In my dream I was standing on the bank of the Nile, when out of the river there came up seven cows, fat and sleek, and they grazed among the reeds. After them, seven other cows came up—scrawny and very ugly and lean. I had never seen such ugly cows in all the land of Egypt. The lean, ugly cows ate up the seven fat cows that came up first. But even after they ate them, no one could tell that they had done so; they looked just as ugly as before. Then I woke up." – Genesis 41:17-21

It’s mean fall is over and spring is coming, don’t ask where winter went in that.

“It’s not important what I think it means, Violet. What do you think it means? That’ll be $300. See you next week.”

And they always tell you their dreams at breakfast, when you’re drinking coffee and trying to come alive.

Don’t climb stairways in gardens. Your fall will ruin the flowers.
