The big difference from Calvin’s later snowmen is the uniform appearance of Linus’. Calvin’s were all deviations of one kind or another. Does Linus see others as faceless masses?

Once as a child I built 7 large snowmen in our backyard, snow packed solid! That spring when they al melted, the last small mounds of snow left in the neighborhood were the remains of some of my snowmen!
