You’re kidding, right? It doesn’t matter one bit what you or anyone “thinks” the coloring could or should be. The fact remains Mr. Schulz never colored the face in this panel in this manner and it’s a completely arbitrary, unnecessary change made by someone who has access and ability to make these changes.

It’s all part of the pointless, garish changes made in this whole colorization of the original black & white artwork. In my opinion, it’s shameful and wrong.

When I did this at ten years old (1960) I got a half hour lecture on “inappropriate behavior” in front of the whole class. Have trouble talking to girls to this day!
