If you were a true friend of Charlie Brown’s… You’d somehow kidnap and tranquilize both Charlie and the Red-Haired Girl, bring them to some far off unknown location, handcuff them together and give them a one or two weeks of supplies to survive their long journey back home while they get to know each other…
I remember a much earlier episode where Charlie Brown was rehearsing giving a Valentine’s Day card to Violet. He tried several different times, emphasizing different words each time: “Here, Violet, is a Valentine for YOU. Happy Valentine’s Day! Here is a VALENTINE for you, VIOLET. Happy Valentine’s DAY!” And so forth. When Violet walks by, Charlie Brown clutches up in love-panic and blurts out, “Here, Violet, Merry Christmas!”
The Little Red-Haired Girl never appeared in the comic strip, but Charles Schultz said at one point that he had chosen the name “Heather” for her. She actually appeared in a couple of the TV cartoon specials, with the name Heather — but Schultz never considered the TV cartoons to be “canon.”
I got 2 Valentine’s cards from a friend who admitted his feelings for me.I didn’t feel the same but I’ve treasured those 2 cards he made for me on Microsoft Publisher.I used Publisher for making cards too.xxx
I am single. I am a charlie brown. Shy. Losers. Our parents were messed up. They made too many errors in the way they raised us. We are too nice and also dull, so we don’t have a girl friend when we are young. I know well that us dorks do not have happy lives from birth to death. The girls we like as little kids spurn us. In the teen years, we are even worse off, since we don’t know when to take a bath. haha. We age ok enough. We get distinguished. A few women run after us when we are 40 and 50. We date a few times in our 40s and 50s. The women argue and dont want to play the game. They still honor their dead husbands. haha I give up…. I am contented being alone. No more head games. :-)

Make sure you blindfold them both first!

Charlie is about 21-22 now. I bet he got real studly and the redhead girl did fall for him in a big way.

Not sure what Linus means by “Browniest”.

If Charlie Brown was able to mail a letter to her, he had to know her name, so why does he always call her “the little red-haired girl”?

The butterflies in your stomach can really do a number on your best intentions… I empathize, Charlie Brown…

I know what it feels like to be in love with a little red-headed girl.
(Said from my boyhood days, not as an adult male.)
