Teacher:āThey will expect the first question to be true so Iāll make it false. The next one will be true to balance out the false one. The next one will also be true to break the pattern. And somewhere Iāll put three falses in a row. Theyāll never expect three falses in a row!ā
This is what happens when you think there is a pattern to a true or false test.. Even if you study you might ignore the questions if you think thereās a pattern. And worse for Linus was that comment about āthereās always three trues in a row somewhere.ā If thatās true (no pun intended) the thing is knowing the where, not guessing at the where. Study and read the questions.
Yup. It always helps to read the questionsāand Think!! I have students who stop listening on their oral exam when they think theyāve heard the answerātrouble is, the examiners know this, so they nearly always throw a curve in the final moments that changes everything!
There are those who donāt even read the instructions, or the whole sentence, because they are so fixated on filling in the form as fast as possible.
Despite being seen as the intellectual in Peanuts, Linus doesnāt seem to do particularly well in school. About the only character referred to as a good student is Marcie. And sheās often clueless about a number of things like sports.
I had a 9th grade science teacher who would give multiple choice tests, which may have included a few true/false questions. He said that if a student got every questions wrong, the teacher would give a grade of 100% for that test. One student tried it, but gave one correct answer. I was tempted to try it, but never did.
Some teachers actually flip coins, roll dice, or use random number generators to decide where to place the correct answer on true/false // multiple choice questions. They want to be sure to avoid patterns.
Hey, Snoopy_Fan. Iām sorry if I was rude last week. I just miss talking to you. Plus, I didnāt have the best week. It was on Thursday where it went bad. The rest of the week was fine. I might tell you what happened in an email when you reply back. I donāt feel comfortable putting it here. I havenāt even told the Cappers.-How is your computer now? It has an icon on my computer to install Windows 10. I still have Windows 7. I love it. When I had my old laptop, I had Windows XP.-I always love hearing from you as well. Itās a shame we canāt talk regularly like me and Number Six do. But I think about you every day. -Iāve found out my actual job title at my Work Placement. Iām a āVolunteer Admin Assistantā Iām happy with that. It makes me sound almost professional and actually employed. -I may not be commenting tomorrow for a few days. So as usual, Iāll miss you.-Well, I hope your weekend is beautiful.-God Bless You.
Yikes. Thereās apparently some things I might not want to know, but given Iām more than old enough to know I should likely find out! Iām also old enough at age 45 to not think any of my childhood heroes are perfect. ;) And by the way, I think the name is Schulzā¦
I did a quick Wikipedia (not a reliable source of knowledge but Iāll take the chance for this subject). ;) So he was married twice; Iām sure that was a lot more common as his years moved on, for better or for worse (um, no pun intended!). ;) I wonder, is Jean Schulz the mother of Jill? I always found it funny for me that Charles Schulz has a daughter who shares my first name. :)

āWhen in doubt, āCā it out!ā (No, never tried it.)
Thereās a dodge that works for DMV tests, though. Whichever answer makes an unapproved behavior look the worst is the right one. Pretend example:
ā[BAD DRIVING BEHAVIOR] kills _______ people a year.A: 3B: 7C: 12D: A GAZILLION.ā
D is correct. Donāt do [BAD DRVING BEHAVIOR], kids!
